What are fees for service?

Fees are $190 for a 55 minute hour and are due at the end of each session. Fees for appointments provided on weekends and statutory holidays are $190.00 per hour. Payment can be made by cash or e-transfers and receipts will be provided at the end of each session.

Will my insurance cover this?

Counselling services are covered by many extended health plans. Please check with your insurance company with respect to your coverage. Allison is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Counselling services provided by Registered Social Workers (RSWs) can be claimed as a medical expense tax deduction when you file your income tax return.

What about confidentiality?

Confidentiality is an important part of the therapeutic relationship. Information can only be released to other parties with the signed consent of the client. Exceptions include when a client is a danger to themselves or others, or when there are concerns about risk to a child under 16 years of age.

What if I need to cancel or change an appointment?

Appointments need to be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance or a fee may be incurred.
